Traditional Art
Kathryn O'Dell's Portfolio »Everyone starts their art journey on paper with crayons and pencils leading towards paints or clay; meanwhile, I continue mine with markers, pencils, Sharpies, and a lot of glue.
All of my skills fall back to my roots in traditional art, where I commonly use paper, markers, pens, pencils, and copious amounts of glue to create large pieces of art to display or give away. My all-time favourite mediums for traditional art are collage, pencil crayons, and inking. My style tends to vary between my traditional sketches and my full-blown art pieces you find digitally.
As of right now, I am not taking commissions for any traditional media, as shipping is expensive, materials cost more, and these pieces take much longer. If you would like to commission a traditional media piece that is not too complicated, please contact me for more information.
This original was made using markers and watercolour paper highlighting dimensions and perspective with one of my original characters.
This ceramic piece was created to hold a turtle bracelet given to me by my Dad in my Studio Art 30 class. It uses clay, glaze, shells and fake moss.
