Digital Art

Kathryn O'Dell's Portfolio » Digital Art

From drawing via how-to books to making my own tutorials for others, I have been learning and creating many forms of digital media for years. Digital art is my favourite medium to explore, and it is often the most diverse medium I use.

Digital media has been my passion since the pandemic, as I use sharp angles, flowing lines, and bright colours to create my art pieces. I often work on personal projects, such as illustrations of my original characters or small concept art sketches for games. Following my digital art are my animations—2D hand-drawn animations with focused action and expressive movement. I bring life to what would otherwise be still life.

I have been taking commissions for about three years under the name Leo The Dragon, and my style has changed immensely since then. I went from being a small artist who mainly did personal pieces to fully illustrating images for a book series and taking on larger commissions like original character reference sheets and small animations.
